What is Bastable's most known for?

We have many great projects we have worked on using Agua products, as can be seen on our Instagram page. Bastable's Furniture & Upholstery is known most for commercial and domestic upholstery along with creating handcrafted bespoke furniture. I am a partner within the family business but I have a hands-on role with the team, from meeting clients and discussing their needs and wants to being in the workshop on the staple gun. 

Can you talk me through a recent project undertaken with Agua? 

A recent project we have completed is a bespoke, fluted, free standing seating area, built to fit in a specific window bay in an open plan kitchen-dining area. The idea which was discussed with the client was to have a made to measure bench seating area, but without it feeling too much like a commercial bench. 

What did you require for the job?

We used the Agua Primeira product for this project in the colour Aqua. The reasoning for this was due to its impressive durability, stain resistance and waterproof characteristics, along with its elegant and high-end feel.

Why did you choose Agua for the project? 

We have always had a great experience working with Agua. The staff are always friendly and are always happy to help. The warehouse carries great stock, which means quick delivery times, giving us the ease to meet our client’s deadlines. Kristina, our area sales representative, is always available and will help us achieve our goals in any way she can. This ensures we can deliver the best product to our clients. 

What are some of your favourite projects undertaken with Agua? 

We have completed many great projects using Agua products. Over the years we have upholstered bars, restaurants, dental surgeries, hotel headboards, holiday park clubhouses and many more using Agua fabrics. Choosing a favourite is hard as all of the projects are unique in their own way!
