Case Study: Herriot Hospice at The Lambert
Helping transform The Lambert Hospital in collaboration with Ocee & Four
A charitable effort overseen by Ocee & Four, we are proud to have supplied the fabrics used in the renovation of the former Lambert Memorial Hospital in Thirsk. Now transformed into Herriot Hospice at The Lambert, this extraordinary initiative aims to give back to the local community, and solidifies the strong partnership between Agua and Ocee & Four.
‘This project wasn’t just about business – it was about community’, says Ocee & Four. ‘We reupholstered some Race furniture pieces free of charge and manufactured many items at cost price, ensuring that every element contributed to the space’s warmth and functionality.
‘To make this possible, we collaborated with our long-term partner, Agua Fabrics, who generously supplied all the fabrics free of charge. Francesca’s expertise and dedication in selecting the perfect fabrics were instrumental in ensuring the final design reflected the warmth and inclusivity of the space. It was a true team effort – everyone involved came together not just to deliver furniture, but to help install and bring the space to life.’
A true collaborative effort, Herriot Hospice at The Lambert has been designed with thoughtfulness and care in mind, making people feel as comfortable and uplifted as possible. The fabrics chosen for the project include Libra Bottle, Primeira Forest, Task leaf, Finezza Sky, and Linetta in Mint and Cream. They were chosen for their complementary tones and textures, and like all Agua fabrics, their excellent performance qualities.
